With reference to order dated 09.12.2025, learned counsel for the respondents has shared with us a copy of the Government Order No. 05-JK (REV) of 2026 dated 10.02.2026, which indicates that required sanction has since been accorded to the Administrative Approval for execution of the project “Completion of District Administrative Offices (Mini Secretariat) at Mendhar” at an estimated cost of ₹1531.75 Lakh, out of which ₹725.00 Lakh have already been utilized. It is urged that pursuant to tendering process initiated by the respondent department bids have been received, which are being Serial No. 19 2 CPPIL No. 1/2018 evaluated and, therefore, nothing substantive survives in the petition at hand. 2. That being so, even learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present petition be disposed of in terms of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents, as also the Government Order dated 10.02.2026. However, liberty be granted to the petitioners that just in case no meaningful progress is made on the ground, to move an appropriate application in the present petition for its restoration and necessary orders. 3. In wake of the above and in terms of the statements made by the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed.
