This writ petition has been filed by petitioner challenging the impugned order dated 07.05.2026 (Annexure No.4) passed by respondent No.1 on a representation filed by the petitioner seeking change of category from General to General- PwBD and further other ancillary reliefs. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is suffering from Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and percentage in his case is 55%. He appeared in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2026 as General Category candidate and no reservation was sought by him as General-PwBD category while submitting application form for the said examination. Now, petitioner wants to change his category from General to General PwBD after appearing and declaration of the result of aforesaid examination. 1 2026:UHC:4192 3. This Court cannot help the petitioner simply for the reason that petitioner has not appeared in the examination as a General-PwBD category candidate, therefore, after clearing the examination under General category, he cannot be permitted to change the category at a belated stage. 4. Due to the aforesaid reason, no interference is required by this Court. The writ petition is misconceived and the same is accordingly dismissed in-limine. 5.
