These writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners on the premise that they were awarded work 2026:UHC:4279 2 orders by respondent no.1, Nagar Nigam Haridwar, for various civil works within the territorial limits of Nagar Nigam Haridwar. 2. It is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the said works were completed by the petitioners during the year 2024–2025, as the case may be. 3. The writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners on the premise that the amounts due under the work orders have not been paid to them despite completion of the works entrusted to them. Therefore, these writ petitions have been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the amounts due to the petitioners for the construction works executed under the respective work orders, along with interest at the rate of 18% per annum. 4. Since petitioners have approached this Court seeking a writ of mandamus, they submit that the representations submitted by them are not being considered by the respondents. Therefore, these writ petitions may be disposed of by granting liberty to petitioners to submit fresh representations before respondent no.1 within a stipulated period, and if such representations are submitted, respondent no.1 may be directed to decide the same within a stipulated period. 5. Learned counsel for the respondents does not dispute the grant of such relief to the petitioners in the interest of justice. 6. In view of the aforesaid, all these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction that each of the 2026:UHC:4279 3 petitioners shall submit a separate representation to respondent no.1 within a period of two weeks from today. If such representations are submitted, respondent no.1 shall consider and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt thereof by passing a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law. 7.
