Petitioner was engaged on contract through UPNL in Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University for discharging duties as Group-D employee, allegedly in 2014. According to petitioner, he developed some medical conditions, due to which, he could not attend to his duties after August, 2024. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to the competent authority to permit him to join duties as Peon/Anusewak in the University. 6. Learned counsel appearing for UPNL submits that petitioner absented from duties without any intimation or information to the University concerned. Learned counsels for the respondents submit that if petitioner is interested in resuming duties, then he can approach the competent authority by making representation. 2026:UHC:4101 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioner to make representation before the Registrar of the concerned University.
