Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been able to surrender before the learned Court within stipulated time as he was working outside of the State for his livelihood and in view of that, two weeks’ further time may kindly be extended for surrender. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that privilege of anticipatory bail was already provided to the petitioner and in spite of that, he has not surrendered within stipulated time. 4. There is no doubt that there is inordinate delay in filing of the present Cr.M.P. for extension of surrender time, however, considering the nature of crime and the petitioner is made accused in the case being driver of one of the tractors and the allegations are made of carrying 70 CFT sand and the privilege of anticipatory bail was already granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice, two weeks’ further time from today is extended to the petitioner to surrender before the learned Court. 5. The order dated 11.07.2024 passed in A.B.A. No.3953 of 2024 is modified to the above extent. Rest of the conditions are kept intact. 6. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
