When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners were called for an inquiry to locate the whereabouts of the first and second petitioners’ son, who is an accused in a case and is currently not complying with bail conditions following the suspension of his sentence. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have already appeared before the respondents police and have shared all the information available with them. 3. In view thereof, the petitioners shall appear before the respondents police on 03.08.2026 and the enquiry shall be completed on the same day. Thereafter, only if any additional information is required based on a specific tip-off, the police may visit the house of the petitioners to inquire and the petitioners shall not be repeatedly called for the inquiry.
