(2) Since the issue involved in all these writ petitions is identical, therefore, these are being heard and decided together by this common judgment. (3) Petitioners were appointed on daily wages for discharging duties as Group D employee in Nagar Palika Parishad, Mussoorie in the year 2010, except petitioner in WPSS No. 1377 of 2026, who was appointed in 2012, and petitioners in WPSS No. 1376 of 2026 and 1382 of 2026, who were so appointed in 2014. According to petitioners, even though they are serving continuously as daily wager to the satisfaction of all concerned, however they are being paid wages depending on the number of days they are serving and their claim for minimum of pay scale has not been considered so far. Another grievance raised by the petitioners is that their claim for regularisation is also not being considered. (4) Learned Counsel for the petitioners relies upon a judgment rendered by this Court in WPSS No. 1593 of 2025 and other connected petitions. He submits that this writ petition can be decided in terms of the said 2026:UHC:4145 judgment. (5) Learned Counsel for the Nagar Palika Parishad, though concedes that the issue involved in those writ petitions is similar to the one involved here, however submits that petitioners are not entitled to minimum of pay scale, therefore this Court may not direct for grant of minimum of pay scale. He further points out that petitioners have not staked claim for regularisation of their services. (6) Learned Counsel for the petitioners, however, submits that in WPSS No. 1593 of 2025, this Court had directed the Nagar Palika Parishad, Mussoorie to pay minimum of pay scale till decision is taken on the representation submitted by the petitioners. He submits that petitioners are entitled to similar relief. (7) Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the judgment rendered in WPSS No. 1593 of 2025. Petitioners shall be at liberty to make representation to the Executive Officer within one week from today. If fresh representation is made within two weeks from today, the same shall be decided, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. For a period of eight weeks or till decision is taken on representation(s) submitted by the petitioners, they shall be paid minimum of pay scale.
