JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3. Notice to respondent Nos.4 to 8 is not necessary for the following reasons. 2. The petitioner who has filed an appeal before the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru Urban District in PTCL Appeal No.62/2024 has filed an interlocutory application on 12.02.2026 to call for the entire records from the Office of the Assistant Commissioner in case No.KSCST(S)31/2013-14. Learned counsel submits that although there was no objection from the other side, the Deputy Commissioner has rejected the application without assigning any reasons. 3. The writ petition is allowed. The impugned order dated 29.01.2026 passed by the respondent-Deputy Commissioner of Bengaluru Urban District in PTCL Appeal No.62/2024 is hereby quashed and set aside. The respondent - Deputy Commissioner shall re-consider the application and pass - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12833 WP No. 6915 of 2026 necessary orders having regard to the fact that there is no objection from the side of the other party.
