Ms.Amirta Poonkodi Dinakaran, learned Government Counsel (Tax), accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On comparing the impugned order dated 07.11.2023 with subsequent order dated 07.08.2025, it is evident that said order deals with multiple issues, including belated filing of the annual return and the imposition of late fee in relation thereto. Therefore, there is duplication as between the two proceedings. Considering the fact that subsequent proceedings cover multiple issues and subsume issues dealt with in the impugned order, the impugned order is quashed. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 28060 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 3.
