Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.M.Veerabathran Prasanth, learned counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 5th respondent. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 19.12.2025 before the respondents, requesting them to take appropriate action for putting up culvert at the northern side of the said lake namely Thallampadi Village. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition. 5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner’s representation will be disposed of within a period of 6 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In this case on hand, the petitioner filed a representation dated 19.12.2025 before the respondents, requesting them to take appropriate action for putting up culvert at the northern side of the said lake namely Thallampadi Village. The culvert is the only way to save water and crops, cultivated by the villagers. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to give top priority to the petitioner’s representation dated 19.12.2025 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
