This Court, while admitting the appeal vide order dated 03/02/2026, had also stayed the impugned Judgment dated 23/07/2025, passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court-I, Kamrup(M), Guwahati in Misc.(J) Case No.38/2020, subject to deposit of Rs.7 lakhs, within a period of 1 month from 03/02/2026. The applicant-husband not having deposited the Rs.7 lakhs in terms of the order dated 03/02/2026, this Court had held that the stay order granted earlier stood automatically vacated vide order dated 27/04/2026.
