Mr. Rajat Chauhan, learned Assistant Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i. Issue a writ of certiorari for quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 04.10.2025 contained in Annexure P-10 (Colly). ii. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the Petitioner from CHC Cholthara, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to CHC Swarghat, District Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, forthwith.” 3. Having heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and having perused the order under challenge, this Court is of the considered view that there is no infirmity in the said order, for the reason that the petitioner, who is serving against a district cadre post, cannot seek his Inter District Transfer and that too, by 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:3807 disturbing a serving incumbent, may be on outsource basis. 4. Faced with this situation, learned Counsel for the petitioner summits that this petition be closed, but with the observation that as according to the petitioner there are certain other places in District Bilaspur where vacancies exist, the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the Authority afresh with regard to his Inter District Transfer. Learned Counsel further submits that vacancies are available including at Civil Hospital Ghawandal, District Bilaspur, H.P. 5. The petition accordingly, as prayed for, is disposed of without interfering with the impugned order, but with the observation that if there is any vacancy available in District Bilaspur and in case the petitioner approaches the Authority concerned by way of appropriate representation for Inter District Transfer, then his prayer be considered sympathetically in light of the physical condition of the petitioner. In the event of any representation being filed within a period of one week from today, let appropriate call thereupon be taken within a period of four weeks as from the receipt of the same.
