The father of the detenue Dharani filed this petition seeking production of his daughter, as she has been missing from her house since 30.06.2026. His complaint was registered in Crime No.302 of 2026 for ‘missing girl’. 2. When the matter had come up for admission on 20.07.2026, we recorded the submission of Mr.C.R.Malarvannan, learned counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) for R1 and R2, that the authorities are in the process of securing the detenue. A private respondent has been arrayed as R3 and notice was issued to R3. Notice has been returned on the ground that there was no residence found in that address. 3. Be that as it may, today, when the matter is called, Mr.Malarvannan produces the detenue. We have interacted with the detenue and her parents and recorded that the detenue wishes to go back to her parental home.
