Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners made a representation dated 23.12.2025 to the respondents, seeking a transfer of Patta No. 529/1985, which currently stands in the name of the deceased Mohammed Ibrahim, in favour of his legal heirs, namely the petitioners herein, in respect of the property situated at Block No. 165, Peter’s Road, Block No. 12, Survey No. 360, Royapettah, Chennai - 600014. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the petitioners’ representation dated 23.12.2025, after issuing due notice to the petitioners as well as the private respondents 6 to 8 and other aggrieved parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
