JUSTICE A.GUNESHWAR SHARMA 24.6.2026 Heard Mr.Kh.Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms.Kh.Maria, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.S.Niranjan, learned Government Advocate for the State respondents. Petitioners, who are employees of Manipur Lok Ayukta, filed WP(C) No.111 of 2025 for regularising their services as they have been working for a considerable time. During pendency of the present writ petition, petitioners submitted representation dated 30.3.2026 to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Manipur and subsequent representation dated 3.6.2026 to the Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Government of Manipur, for considering regularisation of their services. Petitioners filed the present application MC (WP(C)) No.499 of 2026 praying for a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 3.6.2026 submitted by them and with liberty to approach this Court if they are aggrieved by any order passed by respondent No.1. Mr.Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that with disposal of MC (WP(C)) No.499 of 2026, pending writ petition may also be disposed of reserving right of the petitioners to approach this court in future. Mr.S.Niranjan, learned Government Advocate and Mr.A.Jagjit, learned counsel for Manipur Lok Ayukta, fairly submits that this Court may pass appropriate order as prayed for by the petitioners for the limited relief of considering their representation. This Court has perused the materials on record and is of the view that present misc case along with pending writ petition can be disposed of by directing respondent No.1 to consider representation dated 3.6.2026 submitted by the petitioners. Accordingly, the writ petition and connected misc applications are disposed of with the direction to respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 3.6.2026 submitted by the petitioners by a speaking order as per Rule, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion on the merit of the case. WP(C) No.111 of 2025 and connected MC (WP(C)) No.110 of 2025 and MC (WP(C)) No.499 of 2026 are also disposed of accordingly. If the petitioners are aggrieved by any order passed by respondent No.1, while disposing representation dated 3.6.2026, petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court again.
