The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joining hands with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant, abused him and also robbed a sum of Rs.1,000/- from the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case, on account of previous cases pending against him. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner has fifteen previous cases pending against him. Hence, she opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions. 6. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), it is seen that the petitioner has fifteen previous cases against him. It is amply clear that the petitioner has misused the liberty already granted by this Court, and if the petitioner is enlarged on anticipatory bail, he may be https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 20464 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 emboldened to commit similar offences in future. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. 7.
