This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 whereby the petitioner Ratan Shabdakar @ Ratan Sabdakar has prayed for releasing him on bail as he is facing trial in N.D.P.S. Case No.04/2026 pending in the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge( FTC), Cachar, Silchar. 3. A commercial quantity of narcotic drugs was recovered from the possession of the present petitioner and other accused. Charge has already been framed. No witnesses are examined till now. 4. Let the trial court examine at least 4 witnesses. After that, the petitioner shall have the liberty to approach this Court again.
