Jiya Lal Bhardwaj, Vacation Judge (Oral) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has sought direction to accept his joining at GSSS Bhukkar, District Hamirpur H.P.. 2. The petitioner was transferred vide office order dated 27.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) from Government High School Chhajwan Kabu, u/c GSSS Kothi Gehri, District Mandi to GSSS Bhukkar District Hamirpur. Mr. Vishal Panwar, learned Additional Advocate General, waives and accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 & 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been transferred vide Office Order dated 27.01.2026 (Annexure P-4) from Government High School, Chhajwan Khabu under complex GSSS Kothi Gehri, District Mandi, H.P, to GSSS Bhukkar, District Hamirpur, H.P. However, the Principal of the school, who has been arrayed as party in the present petition, is not accepting his jointing. Once the petitioner has been transferred by the competent Authority, respondent No.2 is under obligation to accept the joining of the petitioner. In view of this, respondent No.3 is directed to accept the joining of the petitioner, if the order has not been altered. List on 02.02.2026, for compliance.” 3. When the matter was taken up on 02.02.2026, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the Principal of the School has not accepted the joining of the petitioner and the petitioner had filed a contempt petition. In view of the fact that the petitioner had also filed a contempt petition, this Court had adjourned the matter for 03.02.2026. 4. Today, learned Deputy Advocate General for the respondent-State has produced the copy of office order dated 28.01.2026 issued by the Director of School 3 Education and the same is taken on record. 5. A perusal of the office order dated 28.01.2026 reveals that the order sought to be implemented has been cancelled with immediate effect. In view of the office order dated 28.01.2026, nothing is required to be adjudicated in the present case. 6. The petition is accordingly disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to challenge the office order dated 28.01.2026. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 3 rd February , 2026 ( Jiya Lal Bhardwaj ) (Kiran) Vacation Judge
