Medhi, learned counsel for the accused petitioner. Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the respondent State. This is an application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Muhammod Nice Uddin, who has been arrested on 09.03.2026, in connection with the Guwahati GRPS Case No. 47/2026, under Page No.# 2/2 Sections 123/305 (c) of the BNS, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Goswami, the learned Addl. P.P., Assam on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet vide Charge-Sheet No. 48/2026 dated 30.03.2026. In that context, Mr. Medhi, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the accused petitioner is in the custody since last 64 days and considering his length of detention, he may be released on bail. Considering the fact that the case has already been charge sheeted, accordingly the petitioner is directed to approach the learned Trial Court below with an appropriate application, seeking bail which may be considered in accordance with law.
