However, the said applications were not considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petitions have been filed. 3.Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government’s Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s application dated 24.09.2025 will be considered and disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29268 of 2026 __________ Page4 of 6 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government’s Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent to conduct enquiry based on the petitioner’s application dated 24.09.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the process of enquiry if the 4th respondent requests to produce any document, the same shall be produced by the petitioner including the legal heirship certificate and the death certificate of the petitioner’s husband. 6.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of.
