For Petitioner: Mr. T.Balaji For Respondent: Ms.R.S.Indira Government Advocate (Criminal Side) ORDER This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking modification of the conditions imposed by this Court in para no.7 of the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.17077 of 2026 dated 03.07.2026. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was remanded to judicial custody on 12.05.2026, and was subsequently granted https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL MP No. 13707 of 2026 in CRL OP No.17077 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 3 bail by this Court on 03.07.2026. One of the conditions imposed was to furnish two sureties, out of which one must be a blood relative and the other a local surety. He further submits that since the petitioner is a resident of Kerala, he is facing severe hardship in securing a local surety, as a result of which he has been unable to execute the bonds and remains in custody. 3. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police strongly opposes the modification sought by the petitioner. 4. Considering the submissions made on either side and taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 17077 of 2026 is modified to the effect that the condition requiring a local surety is deleted. Instead, the petitioner is permitted to furnish two blood sureties. All other conditions imposed in the order dated 03.07.2026 shall remain unaltered. 5.
