In the High Court of Uttarakhand, the present case arises from Bail Application filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking regular bail for the Applicant – Yashwant Singh Negi, who has been accused in FIR No.04 of 2026, under Sections 8/20/60 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and under Sections 111 (2)(ii), (3), (4) of BNS, at Police Station Lansdowne, District Pauri Garhwal. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Applicant submits that the Applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. The Applicant has been languishing in jail since 18.03.2026. 5. It is also contended by the learned counsel for the Applicant that the co-accused, namely, Love Kumar, has been granted bail by this Court vide judgment dated 22.05.2026 in BA 1st No.861 of 2026, titled as “Love Kumar Vs. State of Uttarakhand”, and submits that it is a case of parity. 6. Learned State Counsel admits this fact that the co- accused has been granted bail by this Court. 7. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the Applicant has made out a case for bail. 8. Accordingly, bail application is allowed. It is directed that the Applicant - Yashwant Singh Negi, who has been accused in FIR No.04 of 2026, under Sections 8/20/60 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and under Sections 111 (2)(ii), (3), (4) of BNS, at Police Station Lansdowne, District Pauri Garhwal, be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond with two reliable sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned court.
