The appellant/claimant, namely, Hafizuddin @Hafijuddin is personally present before the Lok Adalat, along with his engaged counsel Mr. D. Das. The insurance company is represented by Ms. Hena Haflongbar, Deputy Manager of the company. The claimant was originally awarded a compensation amount of Rs. 2,28,173/-, along with an interest @ 7% per annum. Today, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement of payment of additional amount of Rs. 2,80,000/- to the claimant in addition to the original awarded amount. Now in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the issuance company shall deposit the additional amount of Rs. Page No.# 3/3 2,80,000/- before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Goalpara within a period of 45 days from the date of this order. This appeal is, accordingly, disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
