This petition has been preferred by petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Collector, Surajpur, to consider and decide the petitioner's complaint dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-3) strictly in accordance with law; 10.2 Direct the respondents to conduct a proper inquiry into the allegations made against the PWD Engineer and ensure that the drainage construction is carried out strictly as per approved alignment, measurements, and tender norms. 10.3 Direct the respondent to complete the above exercise within a stipulated period off our weeks or any other time frame as deemed appropriate by this Hon'ble Court; 10.4 Grant any other relief or direction that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent -PWD Department is constructing a drainage, but under the influence of respondent No.4, they have changed the alignment, as a result of which, the drainage is being constructed in the area designated for the road. He further submits that due to the change in alignment, the area earmarked for road has been narrowed in front of the house of petitioner. He next submits that a representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure-P/3) has been submitted before the Collector, Surajpur, District Surajpur, but the same has not been decided till date, hence, learned counsel prays that this petition may be disposed of directing respondent No.1-Collector, Surajpur, District Surajpur (CG) to decide the aforesaid representation (Annexure-P/3) filed by petitioner, within a 3 stipulated period as specified by this Court. 4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Having considered the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, and there being no objection from learned State counsel, this petition is disposed of directing respondent No.1-Collector, Surajpur, District Surajpur to decide the representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure-P/3) filed by petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt/submission of a copy of this order. 6. With aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 7. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, also stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
