OMP No.2 of 2026 The present application under Section 29-A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1966 has been filed for seeking extension of the mandate of the sole Arbitrator, wherein it has been mentioned that the Arbitrator has noticed vide order dated 16.12.2025 that the mandate is to expire on 31.12.2025 and there was one more reference pending with the same Tribunal and the mandate was available upto 30.06.2026 and apparently it is inter se the same party. 2. It is in such circumstances, the application has been filed by the claimant-petitioner, which is not opposed rightly so by the respondents. 3. Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended till 30.06.2026 to conclude the Arbitral proceedings. Therefore, the present application is allowed. 4.
