Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2024 in connection with POCSO Case No.21 of 2025, arising out of Chas P.S. Case No.20 of 2024, registered under Sections 376(2) (f), 376 AB of Indian Penal Code and Section 6 of POCSO Act, now pending in the court of learned Special Judge POCSO Act, Bokaro.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since
22.01.2024.
4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the trial is going on.
5. The records of the case reveals that there is direct allegation against the petitioner and the victim is just 8 years of age and the trial has already commenced. The impugned order is dated 31.01.2025, according to which, out of 9 witnesses, 1 witness was examined. A few witnesses must have been examined in the meantime.
6. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the serious nature of allegation against the petitioner and the fact that the trial has already commenced, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
7. However, the State is directed to ensure prompt production of witnesses.
8. The learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate

this order to the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district and also to the Director, Prosecution to ensure compliance.
9. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the learned court concerned through “FAX/email”.
