Ms. Ruchika Negi, learned counsel for the petitioners. 2. By the instant writ petition, the petitioners are seeking the following reliefs : “I. Direct the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of O.S. Case No. 454/2024 (Ravinder Singh and others Vs. Tilak Raj Dutta) pending before it and further to conclude the proceedings of the aforesaid application, as expeditiously as possible, subject to the directions of the Hon’ble Court in a time bound manner. II. Issue any suitable order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. III. Award costs of the petition to the petitioners.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the respondent is adopting delaying tactics and seeking repeated adjournment. The suit is pending since 2024. 4. The relief as sought appears to be innocuous. 5. Taking into consideration that the suit was filed in the year, 2024, therefore, the learned trial court have to make an effort to 2026:UHC:4012 expedite the proceedings. 6. In such view of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of finally with the direction to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Divison), Dehradun to expedite the proceedings of the Original Suit No.454 of 2024, as early as possible, preferably within six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 7.
