ORDER This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 3 respondents to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 10.06.2026 against 4th and 5th respondents for the cognizable offences disclosed therein, and to conduct a fair, impartial, effective and expeditious investigation in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a representation seeking action against the respondents 4 and 5, who had misappropriated a sum of approximately Rs.1,72,000/-. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner's representation has been sent through the first respondent to the third respondent and current paper enquiry is pending on the same.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to him is dispensed with.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
