The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an order of stay may be granted, subject to the petitioner depositing a certain amount. 3. The learned counsel for respondents 1 to 4 submits that respondents 1 to 4 have no objection to this petition being allowed if the petitioner is directed to deposit 50% of the decree amount, along with proportionate interest and costs. 4. Considering the submissions made by either side, this Court is inclined to grant an interim stay till the disposal of the Appeal Suit in A.S.(MD)No.339 of 2026, subject to a condition. Accordingly, an interim stay is granted till the disposal of the Appeal Suit on the condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the decree amount, along with proportionate accrued interest and costs, to the credit of O.S.No.210 of 2019 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court (Fast Track Court), Kanyakumari @ Nagercoil, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the interim stay 3/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CMP(MD) NO. 9437 of 2026 granted shall stand vacated without any further reference to this Court. 5.
