Heard Mr.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ramasamy, learned counsel for State, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 17.07.2026 to the respondents requesting them to calculate the outstanding amount payable in respect of Loan No. NFS-103 dated 31.03.2000, permit the petitioner to settle the liability under the One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme, and thereafter cancel the mortgage deed registered as Document No.1750 of 2000 dated 31.03.2000. According to the learned counsel, despite the submission of the said representation, the same has not been considered by the respondents till date. Left with no other efficacious remedy, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2026 seeking settlement of the loan account under the One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
