ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest in connection with Crime No.780 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 329(4) and 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was brought to the notice of this Court that during the pendency of the present petition, the respondent police have completed the investigation and filed the final report. The same has been taken on file in C.C. No.110 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kulithalai. It was further submitted that summons have already been issued to the petitioner.
3. In view of the fact that the final report has already been filed, the learned Judicial Magistrate has taken cognizance of the case, and summons have been issued to the petitioner for his appearance, the apprehension of arrest no longer survives.
