No. Dat e Office Not es, r epor t s, or der s or pr oceedin gs or dir ect ion s an d Regist r ar ’s or der w it h Sign at u r es COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS W PSS/ 1 2 6 8 / 2 0 2 5 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. Mr. Vinod Fulara, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Pradeep Hairiya, Additional CSC for the State. 2. Petitioner was engaged as daily wager in Forest Department in the year 1999. At the time of his engagement, his date of birth was recorded as 12.03.1965. Petitioner now wants to have his date of birth changed to 01.01.1969 based on his Birth Certificate, Pan Card and Aadhaar Card. 3. Learned State Counsel submits that since petitioner served for more than 25 years in the Forest Department and he never raised any issue regarding correctness of his date of birth as recorded in his service record, therefore after attaining the age of superannuation, he cannot seek correction of date of birth. 4. He refers to Rule 2 of Uttarakhand Recruitment in Service (Determination of Date of Birth) Rules. 2003. 5. This Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel. 6. After serving for 26 years, as daily wager in forest department, petitioner retired in the 2026:UHC:3562 month of August, 2025, therefore belated request made by petitioner for correction of his date of birth, cannot be entertained. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. (Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J.) 08.05.2026 Mahinder/
