No.20705 of 2026 Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the 6th pay Commission recommendations in respect of the petitioner with effect from 01.01.2006, along with all consequential benefits including arrears of salary with revised time scale of pay, annual increments and promotions within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mrs.P.Kalaiyarasi Bharathi For Respondents : Mrs.K.Porkodi Government Pleader ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to implement the 6th Pay Commission recommendations in respect of the petitioner with effect from 01.01.2006, along with all consequential benefits including arrears of salary with revised time scale of pay, annual increments and promotions within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2. As a matter of fact, the petitioner on an earlier occasion approached this Court by filing WP(MD)No. 27216 of 2024 and the said 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP(MD). No.20705 of 2026 writ petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 15.11.2024 directing the second respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner. Pursuant to the said order, the representation of the petitioner was considered by the second respondent and vide the proceedings No. DSD/3609/2024-A31/276680/2025 dated 24.04.2025 the petitioner was required to submit certain documents so as to enable the second respondent to submit necessary proposals to the first respondent. But for the reasons best known, the petitioner herein, instead of complying with the proceedings dated 24.04.2025, has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition. 3. Mrs.K.Porkodi, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also submits that the petitioner has not submitted the documents as required through proceedings No. DSD/3609/2024- A31/276680/2025 dated 24.04.2025 and in case, if the petitioner submits the required documents, the case would be considered in accordance with law. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP(MD). In the light of the above, this Court does not see any cause of action for the petitioner to approach this Court once again without complying with the proceedings dated 24.04.2025. In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to submit the documents as required by the second respondent vide the proceedings No. DSD/3609/2024-A31/276680/2025.
