Also heard Ms. R Deb, learned counsel appears on behalf of Mr. S.S. Roy, learned CGC for the respondents. In deference to the earlier order dated 11.05.2026 passed in W.P(C) No. 1838/2026 by the Co-ordinate Bench, an application has been filed seeking impleadment of Inspector General, BSF, Guwahati Frontier Headquarters, Patgaon, Guwahati-781017 as respondent No.5 in the writ petition. The learned counsel for the respondent does not object to the prayer made. A Co-ordinate Bench by order dated 11.05.2026 passed in W.P(C) No. 1838/2026 has passed the following order: “Heard Mr. T.R. Sharma, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S.S. Roy, learned CGC. Mr. T.R. Sharma, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that by the notice dated 05.09.2024, it appears that the issues relating to document verification as well as vacancies and other related issues were left to the MHA or the coordinating CAPFs. As such, he submits that he will file an impleading application for impleading the Page No.# 4/4 necessary party i.e. BSF in the array of respondents. Prayer is allowed. List this matter again on 18.05.2026.” It is submitted on behalf of the applicant/writ petitioner that this interlocutory application has been filed in deference to the order passed by the Court to which the respondent counsel does not raise any objections. Under such circumstances, this interlocutory application stands allowed as it is submitted that the Inspector General, BSF, Guwahati Frontier Headquarters, Patgaon, Guwahati-781017 is a necessary party without whose impleadment the reliefs prayed for in W.P(C) No. 1838/2026 may not be considered by the Court for passing appropriate orders. Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands allowed and disposed of. Inspector General, BSF, Guwahati Frontier Headquarters, Patgaon, Guwahati-781017 is arrayed as party respondent No. 5 in the accompanying writ petition being W.P(C) No. 1838/2026.
