Deb Choudhury, learned DSGI for the respondent nos. 4 & 5. 2. The applicant as the writ petitioner has preferred the connected writ petition, W.P.[C] no. 7359/2025. Notice on behalf of the opposite party nos. 1, 2 & 3 was accepted by a learned counsel on 04.02.2026. By the order dated 04.02.2026, the applicant was directed to take steps for service of notice upon the opposite party nos. 4, 6 & 7. 3. As per office note dated 07.05.2026, notices are served upon the opposite party nos. Page No.# 3/3 4, 6 & 7. 4. The instant interlocutory application is preferred seeking impleadment of the following authority :- Assistant General Manager, Surveillance & Investigation Department, State Bank of India, Local Head Office, West Gandhi Maidan, Patna, Bihar, Pin - 80001 - as party-respondent no. 7 in the connected writ petition. 5. It is averred that the proposed party-respondent is the competent and the responsible authority to oversee and implementing surveillance based action and is directly connected instrumentality to the decision-making process which resulted in the impugned freezing of the petitioner’s bank account. 6. In view the above projections made in the application, the prayer for impleadment of the opposite party as the party-respondent no. 7 in the connected writ petition is allowed. 7. The learned counsel for the applicant shall file an amended Cause-Title in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023 before the Registry within 3 [three] working days from today. On filing such amended Cause-Title by the learned counsel for the applicant, the office to cause necessary corrections in the Cause-Title of the writ petition as well as in the CIS.
