ORDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2026 and 27.07.2026 by conducting enquiry ensuring that the petitioner and their members have to participate in the festival which has to be scheduled on
04.08.2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the private respondents, notice to them is dispensed with.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4260 of 2026 respondents, convene a peace committee meeting, and facilitate the participation of the petitioner's faction in the temple festival. It is made clear that none of the villagers, including the petitioner's faction, shall be excluded or excommunicated from participating in the temple festival or from paying the temple tax. The Temple Administrative Committee is directed to receive the temple tax from all villagers, including the petitioner's faction, without any discrimination and to ensure that all villagers are permitted to participate in the temple festival peacefully and harmoniously.
