1. Mr. Rahul Adhikari, learned counsel, holding brief of Mr. Ravindra S. Rawat, learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Ms. Meenakshi Sharma, learned AGA for the State.
3. By the instant petition, petitioners are praying for adequate protection from private respondents since there is regular threat perception from them.
4. Son of petitioner no. 1 and daughter of respondent no. 3 were in love and subsequently, they married with other and got protection from this Court and now, family members of both sides are giving threat to each other.
5. In such view of the matter, SSP, Haridwar is directed to assess the threat perception, if any, to either of the parties against each other and if he comes to the conclusion that there is any threat perception from either side take appropriate steps.
6. In the meantime, SHO concerned shall also call upon the private respondents and interact with them not to take law in their hand.
7. Subject to the directions and observations, as above, the instant writ petition is finally disposed of.
