Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 1 year 1 month and there has been alleged recovery of 59 kgs. of ganja from the vehicle of the petitioner. As the investigation has not been completed, the petitioner prays for bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the investigation is concluded, charges have been framed and date has been fixed for evidence. Having considered that the witness action has already commenced and the quantum of seizure in the present case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of seizure list witnesses are over. 2 Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 464 of 2026 is dismissed.
