02/ 08.04.2026: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The only grievance of the petitioner is that his application for renewal of arms licence is pending and the same has not yet been decided.
3. Considering the nature of grievance of the petitioner, I direct the respondent No.4-the Deputy Commissioner, Godda to take an appropriate decision strictly as per law and communicate the same to the petitioner in relation to the renewal of arm licence.
4. It is expected that the decision will be taken within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this writ petition is
disposed of.
