The petitioners, herein, Mrs. Vishakha Saini daughter of Nathi Ram and Sunny s/ o Mangeram are praying for adequate protection to the life and liberty since there is a regular threat from the respondent nos. 4 to 6 who are father, mother and brother of the petitioner no.1. 3. It is contended in the writ petition that both belong to the same religion and they have also solemnized their marriage on 14.02.2024 and their marriage was also registered on 30.03.2025 but the family members of the petitioner no.1 are against their marriage and there is a threat. 4. On the other side, the State has not disputed on their age and marriage. 5. Since both the petitioners are major and now married with each other and their marriage is also registered, let the SSP Haridwar may assess the threat perception, if any, to the petitioners from the respondent nos. 4 to 6 and if he comes to the conclusion that there is any threat, take appropriate steps.
