The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.06.2021 and 15.03.2023 (Annexures-A & B). 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been in unauthorised occupation of land bearing Sy.No.196/* measuring 1 acre 3 guntas situated at Anegundi, Gangavathi taluk, Koppal District and has submitted representations as early as in the year 2021 and 2023 seeking regularization in accordance with law. It is contended that despite the lapse of considerable time, the said representations have not been considered by the competent authority, thereby compelling the petitioner to approach this Court. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:1844 WP No. 101277 of 2024 4. Per contra, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents-State submits that the representations so submitted shall be considered in accordance with law. 5. Having regard to the limited grievance raised by the petitioner, namely non consideration of the representations, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be met by issuing direction to the competent authority to consider the same in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, this Court pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is disposed of. ii. Respondent No.2-Tahasildar is directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 30.06.2021 and 15.03.2023 (Annexures-A & B) and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
