Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. The petitioner ‘Ankur’ S/o Ashok Kumar is praying for quashing of First Information Report dated 29.03.2026 bearing FIR No. 22 of 2026 P.S. Cyber, District Dehradun, wherein, three persons namely Ravi, Rajan Chaudhary and Vineet Rana have been implicated for the offences punishable under sections 111, 318(4) r/w 61(2) of BNS, 2023 and section 66 D of I.T. Act. 4. It is argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR, however, he has moved a surrender application before the concerned court then he came to know that in the present case he has also been implicated. 5. Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, learned A.G.A., on instructions apprise to this court that three persons have already been arrested and they have disclosed the name of the petitioner. She submits that the petitioner himself submitted a surrender application, but he has not surrendered and now filed this petition for quashing of the FIR. Apart from this, she submits that from the contents of the FIR the cognizable offence is made out that too relates to cyber fraud, therefore, the petitioner could not make out a case for quashing of the FIR. 6. I found force on the submission of Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, learned A.G.A., therefore, I do not find any merit in this petition and the same is dismissed. 7. After dictating the judgment Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner may be given reasonable time to surrender before the court concerned for which learned A.G.A. have not objected. 8. Let the petitioner surrender before the court 2026:UHC:3826 concerned on or before 03.06.2026 positively. 9. Till then no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner provided he cooperates with the investigation and will not indulge in any such activity in future.
