Since this writ petition is being disposed of without affecting the rights of the third respondent, notice to the said respondent is dispensed with. 2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petition dated 20.11.2025. 3. The petitioner states that he has filed a petition under Section 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, seeking cancellation of the settlement deed executed in favour of the third respondent and also seeking appropriate relief for maintenance, including provision of his basic physical needs and amenities. The grievance of the petitioner is that, although the petition was filed on 20.11.2025, the second respondent has not concluded the enquiry. 4. Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petition dated 20.11.2025 on its own merits, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
