David Government’s Counsel ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 28.4.2026 and bearing reference number 48925/U1/2023 on the file oft he 1st respondent and quash the same. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.Dominic S.David, learned Government’s Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted an effective alternative statutory remedy is available to the petitioner by way of a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal under Section 47 – A(10) of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, against the impugned order. In view of the submission of the learned Government’s Counsel, the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present Writ Petition with liberty to file a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect. 4. Recording the submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a Civil Miscellaneous Appeal under Section 47 – A(10) of the Indian Stamp Act before the competent appellate forum within a period of 30 days. Till the expiry of the said period, the respondents shall not take any coercive steps pursuant to the impugned order.
