Subsequently, due to certain misunderstandings between them, the deceased was allegedly under severe mental stress, and on 31.10.2025, at about 11.00 a.m., she committed suicide by hanging. Hence, the registration of the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent individuals who have been falsely implicated in this case and have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the incident occurred solely due to a misunderstanding between the deceased and the first petitioner, and there is no allegation whatsoever against the petitioners. He added that the petitioners are ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court, and accordingly, sought anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) opposed this application but fairly submitted that there are no adverse criminal antecedents against the petitioners and that the respondent police have not effected any arrest against them since October 2025. He further submitted that, although an unfortunate incident occurred on 31.10.2025, a perusal of the record reveals that there are no specific allegations against the first petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 19480 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 5 5.Considering the above factual position this Court is of the firm view that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required. Hence, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, subject to certain conditions: 6. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Tiruttani, on condition that the petitioners shall execute a separate bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) each, with two sureties each, for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, and on further conditions: (a) If the petitioner(s) fails to surrender before the concerned learned Magistrate within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, this order shall stand automatically cancelled; (b) The sureties shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the application for surety ship (Judicial Form No.46 annexed to 'The Criminal Rules of Practice, 2019]'.
