Roy, the learned counsel for the respondents/claimants. [2] This interlocutory appeal has been preferred by the applicant /insurance company, in connection with MAC Appeal No. 246/2026, praying for stay of execution of the impugned judgement and award dated 04.04.2026, passed in MAC Case No. 2223/2021 by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 1, Kamrup(M), Guwahati. [3] The learned counsel appearing for the applicant has submitted that the claimants does not have any objection for grant of stay provided the insurance company deposit Rs. 10,00,000/- out of the awarded amount before the Registry of this court as a condition for grant of stay. [4] The learned counsel for the applicant is Page No.# 3/3 agreeable to the said submission. [5] Hence, the notice to respondent Nos. 5 and 6 in this interlocutory application is waived and this interlocutory application is disposed of with an observation that the execution of the impugned judgment and award dated 04.04.2026, shall remain stayed during the pendency of the connected MAC Appeal No. 246/2026, subject to deposit of an amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- by the applicant/insurance company before the Registry of this court within a period of 4(four) weeks, from the date of this order. On such deposits, the said amount may be disbursed to the claimants/respondents by the Registry after proper verification, subject to deposit of a bond of Rs. 10,00,000/- by the claimants.
