ORDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to act upon the petitioner's complaint dated 12.01.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the enquiry is pending before the Inspector of Police, Thiruvidaimaruthur Police Staiton, Thanjavur District.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court.
4. In view of the above, Inspector of Police, Thiruvidaimaruthur Police Staiton, Thanjavur District is suo motu impleaded as the third respondent. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 12.01.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4053 of 2026 parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
