The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint seeking appropriate action against the fourth respondent for having abused the petitioner with filthy language and having made a life threat to the petitioner with dire consequences. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the enquiry is pending. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Considering the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this petition, notice to fourth respondent is dispensed with. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the third respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4136 of 2026 13.07.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the same, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
