The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, in connection with a property dispute, the respondent police are unnecessarily 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.Crl.(MD)No.4031 of 2026 summoning the petitioners, who are all women, to the police station frequently under the guise of conducting an enquiry and are thereby subjecting them to undue harassment. 4. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioners have not appeared before the respondent police for any such enquiry. 5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court. 6. It is made clear that the respondent police shall conclude the enquiry, based on the appearance already made by the petitioners, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No further direction requiring the petitioners to appear before the respondent police station is warranted. 7.
