Mohd. Matloob, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Petitioner is serving as Constable in Civil Police. He is aggrieved by his transfer from District Haridwar to District Rudraprayag, vide order dated 24.08.2024 passed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar. Perusal of the said order, however, reveals that it was issued in consequence to the order dated 08.08.2024 passed by Inspector General of Police, Garhwal Division. 4. Coordinate Bench passed an interim order in favour of petitioner on 09.09.2024 and on the strength of which, petitioner is still serving at Haridwar. 5. Learned State Counsel submits that there were serious charges against petitioner and a disciplinary enquiry was also initiated against him. He submits that in view of serious allegations against the petitioner, he was transferred from Haridwar to Rudraprayag to ensure that petitioner may not win over the witnesses and he may not interfere with the ongoing disciplinary proceedings. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner 2026:UHC:789 submits that petitioner has made a representation, against his transfer to Inspector General, Garhwal Range, on 31.08.2024, which is to be decided. He submits that direction be issued to Inspector Garhwal to take decision on the representation. 7. Learned State Counsel submits that decision, if already not taken, shall be taken within six weeks. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Inspector General, Garhwal Range to consider and decide petitioner’s representation dated 31.08.2024 and pass appropriate order, as per law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
